Ramsar, the city of forest and sea in the west of Mazandaran province on the coast of the Caspian Sea is of the old northern cities of Iran and one of the best promenades in the country, hosting a large number of people throughout the year particularly in the summer when visitors can enjoy a kind of wet and mild weather, different from the other parts of the country.

Javaher Deh village in the south of Ramsar is considered as an important tourist attraction due to its scenic beauty and perspectives, providing pleasant and relaxing moments. Known for its amazing natural wonders, Ramsar has various beautiful caves making it to be named as the city of historical castles and the bride of Iran’s cities which can be a perfect destination for vacation.

Rice, tea and citrus are produced significantly in the city. Pottery, mat weaving, and wooden statues are among the handicrafts that visitors can find here as a nice and memorable souvenir.
